Street vendors are selling all sorts of fruits and vegetables along the streets and alleys in Antananarivo, Madagascar. They are all small business owners, selling very limited variety and amount of food per day. Nevertheless, they still make enough income to provide for their own basic living. Comparatively, they are much better off than those who are jobless or need to search for food in the dumpsters, which are quite common in the poverty-stricken city.
